Introduction

Welcome to West Lake Body Sculpting ("we," "us," "our"). By using our website, booking appointments, receiving treatments, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully before scheduling any treatments.

Services Offered

We provide non-surgical cosmetic and medical treatments including laser hair removal, body sculpting, ultrasound cavitation, radio frequency treatments, Botox injections, and other aesthetic services. All treatments are subject to medical evaluation and provider approval. We reserve the right to refuse service or recommend alternative treatments based on medical assessment.

Appointments and Scheduling

We recommend booking appointments in advance to ensure availability. Appointment times are reserved specifically for you and held exclusively during your scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or rescheduling, depending on our schedule availability. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in requiring prepayment for future appointments. Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Pricing and Payments

Service prices are subject to change without prior notice and vary based on treatment area and individual needs. Full payment is required at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, CareCredit, and approved financing options. Package deals and promotional pricing may have specific terms and expiration dates.

Treatment Packages and Promotions

Treatment packages are non-refundable and must be used within the specified time frame (typically 12 months from purchase). Package sessions cannot be transferred to other individuals. Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated. Special pricing is subject to terms and conditions at time of purchase.

Medical History and Consultation

You must provide accurate and complete medical history, including all medications, medical conditions, allergies, and previous treatments. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect treatment safety and results. A consultation may be required before certain treatments to ensure suitability and safety.

Treatment Expectations and Results

Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed. Most treatments require multiple sessions for optimal results. For laser hair removal, we typically expect 95% reduction in unwanted hair in 6-9 treatments, though individual results may vary. Before and after photos may be taken for medical records. Realistic expectations will be discussed during consultation.

Pre and Post-Treatment Instructions

Clients must follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by our staff. For laser hair removal, the treatment area must be shaved prior to appointment. Failure to follow instructions may affect treatment results and safety. Sun exposure, tanning, and certain medications may need to be avoided before and after treatments.

Health and Safety Requirements

Please notify us immediately of any medical conditions, pregnancy, medications, or changes in health status. Some treatments may not be suitable during pregnancy, while taking certain medications, or with specific medical conditions. We follow strict sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with state health regulations.

Informed Consent and Risks

All treatments carry some degree of risk, including but not limited to temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or skin irritation. Rare complications may include burns, scarring, or changes in skin pigmentation. Detailed informed consent forms will be provided and must be signed before treatment. You acknowledge understanding of potential risks and benefits.

Refunds and Satisfaction Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with a treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can address your concerns. Refunds are generally not provided due to the nature of cosmetic treatments, but we will work to address legitimate concerns. Adjustments, additional treatments, or alternative solutions may be offered at management's discretion.

Liability Limitations

West Lake Body Sculpting's liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. We are not responsible for allergic reactions, complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions, or results not meeting personal expectations. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings while on our premises.

Photography and Marketing

Before and after photos may be taken for medical records. Separate written consent is required for use of photos in marketing materials. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time, though photos will be retained in medical records as required by law.

Maintenance Programs and Ongoing Care

Some treatments require maintenance sessions for optimal long-term results. Our maintenance programs offer discounted rates for ongoing care. Maintenance program terms will be clearly outlined at the time of enrollment.

By opting in to our SMS/Text Messaging services, you agree to receive automated appointment reminders, treatment updates, promotional content, and special offers. You may opt out by replying STOP or OUT at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance

All medical information and treatment records are kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Information will only be shared as required for treatment, payment, or legal requirements.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good faith discussion first. If necessary, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration in accordance with Texas state law. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive rights to class action proceedings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of revised terms. Updated terms will be posted on our website and available at our facility.
